I went to Spokane over the weekend to visit my besty. We had such a good time. It was a suprise visit! She never saw it coming. It was pretty fun to say the least. We spent our days shopping and our night's drinking.
Nate took us on the Lake cruise! It was very fun. We didn't even know we were going. During College everyone got to go with different frats and we never even got to go, well we got our chance. We drank the champagne and sat in the sun and got my high heel stuck in the dock.
There were 2 crises leaving at about the same time. One boat was pumpin jams and had a ton of deck room and tables and a younger crowd, the other boat had classical playing and the crowd's average age was about 65. Guess which boat we ended up on? The geezer one..yup.
Who even cares, we made the most of it. The houses are huge and all becuase one rich guy owns like the whole city. Yep.
After the cruise we made our way downtown so Mara could spin the wheel on her birthday at Fast Eddys. Which is a giant wheel of fortune type wheel on the wall and you get to spin it if it is your actual birthday. You can win bar money to spend at the bar. Needless to say we won $15 and used it all up. :) Good times!
The next day we slept in, ate b-fast, went shopping, went to Spagetti Factory and then played video games and drank champagne.
Friday we got ready, had breakfast, went shopping, got ready again, drank champage again, went to The Onion then out to the bars. Good stuff.
By Saturday, my liver was on crutches. It was pretty painful... my plane ride home consisted of me sitting in the middle seat of 3 and having a baby on either side of me. Exhausting! Luckily by the end of the flight they had fallen asleep, but c'mon flight attendents. Why would you do that to me?!!
Saturday night we raced out to Angie's wedding. That wedding was amazing! She looked like a princess, the setting was beautiful, the food was great and the weather cooperated. The only thing was it got a little dark there in the night time. The DJ lights were not bright enough to light up the whole lawn. They should have put extra twinkle lights up. Who would've known though. It was all fab!
I know they'll have a good time on their honeymoon.
I just really need to finish that video for Alyssa. Whew!
My life is CRAZY!
