This weekend we spent the weekend with Tim's Mom's side of the family for a family reunion. Her side of the family is Italian. They make this bread that is 5lbs of honey, flour and eggs and it's called Muska Muskoli or something like that, so I ended up calling it Muska Muska bread all weekend. It was entertaining, at least for me.
Friday night we went to a park and ate and played family reunion games. I had to moo like a cow and run with a ladel of water with a bunch of strangers I'd never met, but remarkably...I felt like family.
Saturday we went to St. Anns for a dinner, raffle, and dancing. We were in the gym and whoever was the brains behind setting it up for us left the thermostat on unoccupied and locked the box. Needless to say it was only about 10,000 degrees in there and the air was just as heavy. It felt like I was breathing someone else's garlic breath. I wanted out...I stuck it through and even though it went late, I guess it was worth it.
We woke up early Sunday morning to head out to Lagoon. For those of you who don't know what Lagoon is it's like a baby six flags. Rollercoasters, games, a waterpark...a theme park...you get it. Anyway we were die hard and got there when it opened and stayed til about 8:30 p.m. It was Italian Days at Lagoon so it was nice to drink beers and stuff. Tim had to enter a raffle for a wheel barrel filled with liqour (proabaly about 10-15 bottles). He was quite excited about that. "Think of what we could do with a Wheel-barrel filled with alcohol"
Lovely. . .
We had a good weekend overall, I guess I need to just try to be more outgoing. I felt as though I was left out alot...but, I could just have a complex.
